Comment by Iphigenia Gossios Burg on March 7, 2012 at 5:06pm I see this blue lady floating from the left to the right... her head is on the right and little on top... you can see her shoulders and her (L) arm hanging on the right side of the painting... you can see her hips in the middle/lower part of the painting... and her upper legs and her whole figure... her knees disappear into the clouds...she is floating and she is above everything.....
I love this painting.
Comment by laura joan levine on March 5, 2012 at 8:06pm Thank you Katya and Linda! Linda - I find that the music I listen to while painting has a very powerful effect on the work, and people picked up on this
Comment by Linda A Wiltz on March 5, 2012 at 7:59pm Hi Laura,
I like the lyrical and dreamlike qualities of this vision. The colors suggest a sense of wellness and peace that one might experience while meditating. Very calming and a welcomed Surprise!

Comment by Luke Gilliam on March 5, 2012 at 7:34am Nice piece of work. It's light, subtle, dreamlike and youthfull. I see hints of surrealist ideas but done in a fairly fresh way. Good work. Would be interesting to make a series of 5 and see what permutations come out of the series. Stay in touch.
Comment by Ruud Hollander on March 5, 2012 at 3:06am Dear Laura, it's sparkling, as a good surprise ought te be! I prefer a small size, where I can better overlook the situation.

Comment by laura joan levine on March 4, 2012 at 9:23pm That's very interesting Iphhie - and Patty - that's just what I felt when doing it while listening to some very soothing music!
