- About Me:
- Been drawing since I was about 4, that I can remember. Have always known I would be an artist. BFA in Illustration, specializing in fashion. Worked as art director, layout artist, illustrator (still). Began creating my own art in 2002, photorealistic still life in colored pencil.
From Lawrence, Massachusetts, USA, married with 3 boys.
- About My Art:
- Cezanne once said that you can draw an apple or a head and it isn't about the apple or the head - it's all about line and color. A life long illustrator, I was inspired by another colored pencil artist to create my own still life in 2002. My greatest joy is working with line and multiple layers of brilliant color to create the illusion of three dimensions on a two dimensional surface.
I work to inspire visual tranquility - the creative process itself into which I retreat, and the final product - both are a spiritual journey for me.
