Jeanette, The iPad Sketch app. won't replace the high tech functionality of the human hand and a pencil. BUT this app is awesome. I did not want a full on PhotoShop/ illustrator type painting application. I wanted real sketching capability and Sketch Book Pro has that. Not pressure sensitive but the variety of tools compensated very well. I like it. I will try to send a few sketches in this post. Oops wrong one, I got better. I will try again
Hi Jeanette - I loved seeing your work at the St Lawrence Centre - amazing input you made. I believe our show is up until January 22 - we are open Saturdays and Tuesdays but send a message before you come so we know you are coming - Best always Luke
Dear Jeanette, I originally had tomorrow off work but was told today I will be working to 7pm. I do not know if I will be able to make it and am a bit frustrated because I want to see your show. If I am not able to get down I am wishing you the best of luck and a huge crowd of guests to make a great atmosphere - lets stay in touch - best from Luke
Yes - your work very openly speaks about different types of perception because you use so many layers so you have really communicated that. My idea for the video was to convey to the viewer what it is like to be on the outside or fringe of society even if only for brief periods of time. So the text and the hand gestures are supposed to send that message (convery the feeling of restlessness).
Wow ! Thank you ! Only just put up the video today - it was made onsite at Toronto School Of Art (source material shot at home). I feel it is a good introduction to 'what is Outsider Art'. I plan on expanding the video to add more elements. Best L ;;==)
